Annie-is...(full page)

Annie is my sister....

Annie is my sister. From the time when we were little, she drove me crazy. Even now sometimes it almost seems like we speak different languages explaining things that seem really clear to me is frustrating and incomprehensible to her and vice versa. Our ways of thinking about and dealing with things are different too. But there is one thing about which we completely agree: we love each other and our families. And would do anything for them. She is exasperating and maddening and also one of the warmest, most giving, caring, generous, accepting people I know. We went together to hear the doctor's diagnosis. She was so brave and strong. All through the initial surgery, the recovery period, getting back to work, she never wavered. Now, facing the next steps, which will be even harder and more demanding, she is still steadfast. I am so proud that she is my sister. I love her madly!

Annie is my auntie....

She is one of the warmest hug-givers. They make me feel so good whenever I get one, and that's how I realize that I'm actually in Hawaii. Auntie Annie is funny, kind, soft, and is always thinking of others. She's also one of the BEST Rice Crispy Treat makers ever!!!! I love you Auntie Annie!!!

Annie is my sister...

...and the most genuine and generous person I know. Of our siblings she and I are the closest in age and yet may be the most different in our approach and how we think. While I may not always understand or agree with her, she has warmly and wholeheartedly welcomed my haole husband and mainland family, always making a point of greeting us with leis (which she hand picks and strings herself) and making herself available whenever we visit Kauai. I am so grateful to her for that. Of anyone I know she is a shining example of what it means to serve others. I am amazed at her perseverance and her faith and strength in overcoming adversity. She has overcome a lot in her life and I am proud of her.
— Kiki Lee

Annie is my auntie....

She is the most positive person I know. I have rarely seen her when she was not smiling. If people didn't tell me that she had gotten cancer, I probably wouldn't have known, because she is always smiling.
— Drew Cunningham-Lee

Annie is my sister-in-law....

From day one, she treated me like family. In time, I came to see that I could have been anybody: If God saw fit to have someone cross Annie's path, then Annie saw fit to love them like family. I don't get to see her very often, and yet she has never wasted an opportunity... I mention how beautiful Plumerias smell and next thing I know, there's a lei around my neck; show up for the family meal and a full plate of food is put in my hand! (I didn't even have to stand in line!); One time, I was scribbling an idea in a notebook and she came to see how I was doing. I ended up explaining this crazy idea in every detail and then asked her what she thought. She said: "Well, I don't really understand it, but thanks for telling me about it." When I tried to apologize for getting her stuck listening to me, she wouldn't hear of it... She said she needed to stay and listen because it was something that was important to me.... At every turn she has blessed me. Now I pray that she will be blessed.

Annie is my sister-in-law....

Annie and I have always been on, not a first-name basis, but a first-letter basis: "Hey, G!" "Hi, A!" Could be that we're just too lazy to say the whole name, but I like to think the simplicity of that sort of sums things up for us. Our trails have meandered since we first met, but every time we meet again, it's always that simple: what we see is what we get.

Annie is my Auntie...

She is a treasure. I like the times I went to her house and she fed me lunch and especially when she let me play video games with Levi.

Annie is my Aunty

Whenever I see Aunty Annie, I can't help but get an oh-so-wonderful warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Me and mom are always greeted with a big hug and she makes us beautiful plumeria lei for when we go home. She always knows how to make me laugh and put a smile on my face, or take away my stress with one of her famous massages! Aunty Annie has the patience to put up with all the kids and teach the older ones how to drive in her van (: Thanks for EVERYTHING Aunty Annie. I LOVE YOU.

Anne is my optimistic, happy sister...

Out of all of us siblings, Anne is the most positive and forgiving. She can keep smiling no matter the challenges, and she's had plenty. She touches people in such a way that they love her forever. Lots of times people mistake us for each other (we don't get it, but it happens) and I don't mind at all! She has a hidden talent of being able to cut out letters and shapes freehand! It has come in handy many times when doing signs for our kids parties and other happenings. She always tried to make me laugh even when I didn't want to and still does ( but I resist less). When we were little she made up the funniest story about the three little pigs and the big toe-jammy king. I don't remember the details, but I remember us cracking-up! Her favorite color is purple, she loves chocolate almonds, enjoys food and family and anything fun, fun, fun!!! I try not to think about it too much since I end up bawling, but if she were gone, it would be like a light being dimmed. I love you, Anne!

Annie is also my sister…

She is my sister in the gospel, a beloved daughter of our Heavenly Father and a beloved sister of mine. Mother Teresa said something that makes me think of Annie. She said, "Let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love." That to me is Annie. You immediately feel her love for you when she greets you with her beautiful smile followed with the warmest hug. Annie has a way of making everyone she meets feel special. She loves unconditionally and looks for the best in people. It is her gift. I love Annie. I love her honesty - what you see is what you get, no hidden agendas. I love her simple faith, her optimism, her generosity of heart and most of all her loving smile. I love you, Annie! Te atua pu (May you always be surrounded by God's love).

Annie is…

Anne Tsuneko Timmins Bunny Princess Timmins Lee Eulalio, my sister:
Thinking of your hardship
Puts me in distress
What you mean to me
Words cannot express
We've fought, argued and made each other mad
But life without you would be very, very sad
God speed on the journey you're taking at last
You're an ache in my heart and a pain in my.....neck

— SJ

Annie is my daughter…

She has always caused me concern and grief but I love her very much. It's why I lost all my hair! But losing it all is worthwhile because she is who she is: she is my daughter. Like all my other daughters and my son, I love them all equally. Read more.

Hi! I'm Annie!

God is good! He blesses me when I don't deserve it. I have a mom & dad who love me deeply forever. They gave me siblings who love me that same way. And THEY increased the love by getting married to amazing people and having even-more-amazing-than-them beautiful children. I have a husband who loves me through my gazillion failings without telling people about them and 3 terribly good-looking sons who are such outstanding young men. They make their mama proud.(that would be me :) I'm thankful for so much goodness in my life. I know I am not the only one with cancer, and there are so many people suffering in so many different ways, but I am humbled and grateful for all the good thoughts, well wishes, prayers and support from such a variety of people. I can never say "Thank You" enough to each and every one of you. I will just ask our Heavenly Father if He might bless each of you with peace, love and happiness in your souls through all the turmoils and joys of life. I appreciate your support! ... and have an AWESOME day!
— Annie Eulalio
